While nationally-ranked Glenville and Elder cruised to easy first round wins in the Ohio state football playoffs, Colerain, which spent several weeks in the national polls, survived a scare to advance to next week’s Region 4 semifinals. The top ranked Cardinals beat Moeller 17-10 when linebacker Tyon Dixon returned a fumble 88 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. According to a report in the Cincinnati Enquirer, Moeller head coach John Rodenberg wasn’t happy with the call, believing that the fumble came after the play ended.
